I was not aware that JVC had a cutting room in New York. Their cutting room in Hollywood was in what used to be the RCA building on the corner of Sunset and Ivar. The lathe was a Neumann, the console was JVC's own. As mentioned, the head bears resemblance to an Ortofon. The Victor people claimed it ...
