have had the same problem, its nothing as complicated as mentioned in the various posts. You simply have to "wiggle" the wheel in place if I remember correctly. It should make a "clonk" sound when in place - sorry I can not give a more detailed description. You are also missing an idler wheel, looks...

hoping somebody here knows this. I am driving an old astatic 10ohm cutting head from an external 8 ohm amplifier. Seems to work fine, but would it better to make an amp that has exactly 10ohm impedance?
