I wonder how many time is possible to playback a dub that is been cutted with a ruby stylus, mono head. The Dub himself come from Apollo, and I cutted with my lathe, sound nice but for how long?

Hi, I never cut on PVC, but I'll love to try. I have an Audax cutter head, with the ruby stylus plus coil from Transco. Or I can use an nos cutting stylus. Is the quality of PVC close or the same as the dub from Apollo? when cut how many time will be possible to play-back the record?

which replacement stylus on the audax? The short ruby from Transco 362. The stylus has the coil around the ruby, so I made a box with a voltage regulator for 1.5v dc, and the temperature of the stylus is constant 40'C.
