RCA Overhead for sale
Here's a working RCA overhead with cutting head $2,800. There's interesting history on this overhead that I would be happy to share privately. I've mounted it on a variety of platters including Presto 6N (like the famous Sun Studios photo). I've used this overhead for over a decade as an amateur wit...

Re: Looking for center spindle clamp
Hi Soulbear, if my SP10 was in original condition the Michell Clamp would work great. But as you can see the spindle is cut short.

Re: Looking for center spindle clamp
I like SoulBears recommendation, I ordered the Michell clamp but my spindle on the SP10 is too short and the Michell clamp does not grab.

Re: Looking for center spindle clamp
Well yes I sent email when I visited the website. My other option would be to tap the center spindle or have it modified (replaced) with a threaded part. Anyone doing this? Its for a sp10.

Looking for center spindle clamp
Looking to clamp down blanks using hex screw. Does anyone have a link or info? Currently using parts from my local hardware store. I've seen a better clamp in your photos. Thanks!

Recommendation for Bodine motor assembly
My goal is to use this Bodine motor to power an overhead unit. I'm looking for recommendation or purchase link for: 1. Pulley with clutch to fit on 1/2 inch motor shaft. The pulley on the overhead has a inside diameter 0.14 inch. 2. Power supply for motor with simple controls- Speed dial and on/off ...

Re: What type of lathe is this??
I'm not sure of the type, but I might have one of those in storage. It might be a Federal Recorder judging by the tweed cab pattern and the overhead shape.

A big thumbs up to Todd who rewound both of my Presto cutter heads. I can finally start cutting thanks to his expertise and fast turn a round. I highly recommend Todd's full treatment!
