Re: Project: OsoMiso - SALSA - RolandJay's Tweeter 45/45 hea
I made a quick cardboard body test and I only have a area of 4.5cm x 5cm to add a tweeter/transducer. The main problem is that the dashpot is really close to the head. Is hard to find a tweeter/transducer small enough. Looks like the only solution is a custom built transducer. Maybe flozki , ROLANDJ...

Re: Project: OsoMiso - SALSA - RolandJay's Tweeter 45/45 hea
Thanks Bryan Keep us posted the progress. Thanks One of the issues with the 6N is not only trying to get the stylus really close to the position of the stylus for the 1C or 1D head to minimize cutting distortion due to non-tangent movement since the 6N over head is what it is and can't be adjusted b...

Re: My Presto 6N Cutterhead Project
First prototypes.
Acrylic body. 2 transducer 4ohms. Nilon screws.
So far 122g. Missing torque tube and mounting for Presto.
I'll need to adjust the transducer. Not too much room for the dashpot.

My Presto 6N Cutterhead Project
Hi all I'm planning to build my Presto 6N Cutterhead. For now no name. Just in the prototype phase. :) So I'm planning the body but first I'd like some help in my 'twitter' or 'exciter' route. My presto 6N was rewounded to 8oms. Based on that, I could use this 'exciter', correct? https://www.amazon....

Re: power amp reading "protect"
I have this problem with a Servo 600 a few months ago. Not sure if you are using the same. But I didn't have a Presto in that time and I was just using with speakers and a turntable (Was waiting my Presto to arrive). Was always "protect". And than the "protect" fade out and I thought was good. No lu...
