i picked up a circle punch today to make labels for my records, its 3.5'' in diameter so it will work well and will save me from buying precut ones

i will make a jig to put them all in to drill out the 9/32 hole, ill be able to print 6 at once on a standard sheet of sticker paper

i just ordered a tungsten needle off ebay for cutting polycarbonate

im excited to have a consistant cut and not have to resharpen my nails every ten records\

where to get cheap polycarbonate

im looking for a supplier of polycarbonate preferably in canada to make blanks from

i have the means of cutting them myself im just not willing to spend over 10 dollars a sheet to make one blank from the hardware store.

here is my setup for cutting blanks i went out and bought a bandsaw today and made a circle jig for it to cut blanks this is a test using wood to show the circle ill be cutting polycarbonate on this rig and i bought a specific blade to cut lexan for it that should give very smooth cuts into the poly...

whatever amp was inside the vrx is not as good as an outboard such as a crown or bryston or any dedicated power amp you would get, i recomend a solid power amp with at least 100w per channel @8ohms

this should get you cutting asap

ive found a really great simple circle cuttting jig for a bandsaw that cuts perfect circles

my playback deck this was the initial deck i used for my lathe, then when i decided to use the direct drive i had to build a deck out of this one because i had removed the arm from this one, i cut out a hole with a jig saw to mount the gemini tonearm and added a switch to manually turn on this deck ...
