Saving this!
Thinking about doing the same thing and running with two machines. Obviously it saves a bunch of time for 12” records. Do you use it for all sizes?

Re: Yuri Suzuki Easy Record Machine
Took a little longer than I anticipated but here is a link to some photos and a video of my first cut and playback. Need to play around with the tension and work out how to stop it swafting under itself. The instructions simply say ‘collect at end of recording’ Definitely feels cheap but it costs £7...

UK based recycling
Hi, I recycle partially used discs and test cuts into sketchbooks, letter holders and cake trays. It started with my own test cuts (i have a t560) however I am happy to take other peoples if it saves you filling up landfills or paying for PVC recycling from Biffa (their crazy prices is the reason wh...

Re: Picture Discs Question
Hey brother! I had great success making picture discs. Here is one that I made for my band a couple years ago. https://youtu.be/SWQ5TsuraF4 However, I did a few things differently. I don't use Souri's stock. I have a print guy here in Jacksonville that does all my printing for labels, jackets, etc,...

Re: VinylRecorder T560 CutterHead Alignment & Weight Calibra
You need a spring scale. Step by step..... 1.unscrew the ‘oil’ spring on the front of the head completely 2.Lower the cutterhead to the record and check the weight of the head using the spring scale. It should be at 45g. To adjust this there is a large gold counter weight on the back. Screw it which...

Re: VinylRecorder T560 CutterHead Alignment & Weight Calibra
Ah, that’s a bit far for me to pop over and help. I’m in Portsmouth on the south coast. So as best I can help.... 1. Hard to describe. Shortest bit of the stylus facing the front, ‘pointy’ bit at the back. Should be completely flat and parallel to the front of the head. 2. When you put the cutterhea...

Re: Right channel dropout Vinyl recorder
Have you checked the blue resistor (at least that's what I think it is) knob on the audio in to the back of the mixer? I found that depending on how far the resistor is turned can effect how panned to one side the tracks were. If it's loose or being knocked that may explain it. If you get a new mixe...

I would definitely say go for the more expensive vacuum.
After trialling various home 'hoovers' and some other industrial ones Souri's has been the most reliable. It is small but does weigh a tonne!
Enjoy!

5/16” paper hole punch
Anyone know where I can find one?
I’ve trawled the Internet and cant find a decent one.
I’m using it for my stickers. I’ve tried metal punches with a hammer and they don’t do so well against the gloss paper.
Thanks!
