I have 2 of the ones in the photo. The 1st on the left and the last on the right. I just use them for scribing into petg and poly carb. I don’t cut lacquers, for what my experience is worth.

I found that I was getting balling/pick up issues when I got a crack in my chip canister lid. Once I was able to create an airtight seal it all returned to normal.

One other difference, I don’t turn on heating until I’ve done my lead in, Obvs not the auto set up. But seems to work for me.

Just want to give props to SueDenim and the other contributors on this post. You all are so helpful, selfless and wonderful humans. Just a quick appreciation post. <3
