Re: Engraving pen ? what tool are you using?
I have 2 of the ones in the photo. The 1st on the left and the last on the right. I just use them for scribing into petg and poly carb. I don’t cut lacquers, for what my experience is worth.

I had to replace mine too, but I just asked Souri to send me a new one. And he did.

Re: Coloured Blank Discs - where to get?
I’ve been using the transparent blue and green from MyShank pretty consistently, I’ve made a run of the opaque white for a client too. I didn’t have any real concerns with the noise floor on them. I found them pretty comparable to he other myshank colours. The poly carb is a little stiffer than Sour...

Thanks for being so transparent with this, Handcut. Everyone is so helpful, It’s been so much easier trying to navigate the 560 knowing there’s a community of people that are all combating something.

Hi Ibai,
My head is set at the top of that adjustment portion. Sorry for the late reply.
I hope it’s working better now for you.

Thanks Mike, for the reminder!
Great time to set up monthly donations too!
I wouldn’t be well into my second year with my 560 without you all and your selflessness. Thank you Steve for having a place for us all. <3

Re: vinyl recorder chip pickup issues
I found that I was getting balling/pick up issues when I got a crack in my chip canister lid. Once I was able to create an airtight seal it all returned to normal.
One other difference, I don’t turn on heating until I’ve done my lead in, Obvs not the auto set up. But seems to work for me.

Re: calibrate /configure T560
Thank you Discomo! Totally agree. I saw the age of the OP too late after typing. I felt like a jerk, but I still feel like Souri takes a lot of flack needlessly. We’re all blessed that he decided to make this crazy piece of machinery. I’ll never know all of its secrets, but I couldn’t be happier wit...

Re: calibrate /configure T560
I also have to defend Souri here. I've had setbacks and have had to lean on the incredible network of cutters of this community as well, shout out to MarkRob and SueDenim and Mikey D! I've had my 560 for 2 years now and have never broken a stylus, I have always had responses from Souri. I think the ...
