Another idea is to mount a "drag knife" tool on a head of a CNC machine, or maybe a 3D printer, and make it work as a single layer print, just dragging the knife once over the sticker paper surface, at the right height.. should be doable.

It has no problems with installation on Presto recorders, and if needed, with a recent "update" it can reach 7" disc closing areas on the 6N (and others similar with wider center rod), as well...

Hey guys! A bit of an update here! After doing a test CNC milling into the side of one of the heads and creating a turntable center rod Presto dummy to have the real size at hand for reference, i was able to cut a closed groove well beyond the RIAA standard 7" closing area which is nominally 3 7/8"....
