By the look of the video it seems that head is at an angle leaning to the front a bit which makes the needle also be at a "digging in" angle. When its in this configuration it is more prone to jump (try drag something edgy along some surf...

Re: T560, Presto, Vortex...any suggestions?

Hey buddy! I dropped you an email some days ago, but well.. I think there should be no issue with mounting a vacuum tube as some of the guys managed to do it with this head on a 6N. It all basically depends on the installation height of the head, as well as how high or low is the stylus sitting.. it...

Is there much clearance underneath the head for a swarf/chip tube??
Hey buddy! Yea, there should be enough space to make that happen. A pic from one of the guys who got one of the heads:

Re: T560, Presto, Vortex...any suggestions?

Hey guys! Konstantin from TKV Instruments here. Just to quick comment about the VC01 cutterhead I designed. It has no problems with installation on Presto recorders, and if needed, with a recent "update" it can reach 7" disc closing areas on the 6N (and others similar with wider center rod), as well...

Re: New Dynamic Stereo Head for Sale

Hey guys! A bit of an update here! After doing a test CNC milling into the side of one of the heads and creating a turntable center rod Presto dummy to have the real size at hand for reference, i was able to cut a closed groove well beyond the RIAA standard 7" closing area which is nominally 3 7/8"....

Re: Lead screw for DIY lathe ??

Check out "linear stage" search on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=linear+stage&_sacat=0 There are these 8mm "T8 leadscrews", which you can probably find in 1, 2, 4, 8mm pitch sizes, maybe others too. Usually sold with the mating brass nut. https://ww...
