I would think that Kim is using a custom stylus. Kim has been dealing with professional disc recording equipment since the mid-1990s and he’s sold a lot of equipment. Hi, I’ll second Kim Gutzke of customrecords.com for what you are looking for. A one-off disc is not inexpensive, however Kim offers a disc that will play on an acoustic gramophone. I’m kinda late to the party with my post... Here’s an acoustic recording (1911) on Victor Records that has 4 interwoven grooves.
