the Sillitoe and the Agnew lathes will be intended for lacquer cutting, as far as I can tell. expect their price range to reflect that - a lacquer cutting system, Scully, Neumann, etc will be at least $100K, if not more. just setting expectations here! I think Jesus was once saying something around...

I have 2 Neumann styli, but both have not been tested and probably need resharpening and rewiring. But can let go cheap.

Hey leofam5 , Did you pinpoint the source of that noise ? I have the same problem...when I first started using platter , there was no noise....suddenly it appeared and doesn't want to go away. I have the same platter setting . I've changed the spindle already, got another 2 in the service right now....
