Hi Ben, reviving this old thread as I'm having the same issue here (louder volume on the right side), but when I use the balance/pan knob of the main unit all the way to the left to compensate I still cant get it balanced. A fun one would be to cut with the picture signal signal as L-R (So depth) and a mono audio track (lateral), that way you could maybe get a picture disk that was also actually playable on a mono system?
