I think the biggest issue you would run into is the fact that it has no suspension. Yes, the lack of the oil dashpot or similar suspension was and is our main concern with the NC-V8, the motor noise less so I guess. I've been cutting records with my V8 for a year now, and I couldn't be happier. It's fully compatible with needles and blanks from the usual suppliers. The price/performance ratio is spectacular. Nedelcu rules! How do you manage lead in, wind on and lead out on the V8? I haven't seen that mentioned...
