Would one of you trolls out there with a 6N mind lifting your platter and taking detailed pictures of the motor mounting? I am missing the motor mount bracket and will need to fashion one. Measurements would also be very helpful!

I heard from a son of an old studio guy, that they would set a lathe console into a container of sand for isolation. I don't know how well that worked.

I plan on building a console just like that. My suggestion might be to see if you can find an enclosure and cut it down. Then use fill in panels.

So I picked up an Audak/Audax AT-12 tone arm. Any thoughts on these? What do all you folks use for tone arms?
