I Haven't posted in years.. Does anyone in town fix these machines, I wanted to cut my own Origional compositions on this device.. It means a lot to me, I don't know about vintage tube electronics. Need to be tought to get this working, Now working on a messiner, 1-9065... as my Bell labs RC-36 mode...

the needles may need sharpening,,, get a sharpening stone. and sharpen them in a cucrcular motion.

Marc rising star gets his parts from gib.. Marcs no help either.. guess the only help i will get is from magnets,. this is frustrating not knowing the math equation for wire coils.. its not like you can wire any amp onto a stereo. You need to wire it so the stereo wont fry,, You have to know how muc...

i think what e means is he had gib rewind the coild and file down the metal link making it sensative.. giving it a hi fi def groove.. The only reason i had him rewind one head and he reduce the 500 ohm coil in mine as well.. well he reduced the head, for what ever reason. to work with any 8 ohm ster...

i am running the head to the plate in the back,, using no amp what so ever.. Direct liking like hooking up a speaker to a stereo,, same idea.. No i did not use a tube amp.. sorry that you think that ???

there are two coils to make the cutting sensative ,, so that it cuts to disk.. giving it the extra vibrations to cut theg roove.. and leave permanent markings.
