You cutter looks good, but keep the moving mass (inside the cutter head)as low as possible, every fraction of a gram counts, thats the trade-off, low mass but as stiff as possible.
Also,instead of acrilic, try policarbonate or petg, they are more easy.

I made tungsten point stylus for embossing, worked great., Tried diamond but my results were not good... slow coarse grinding and bad finishing. I used the wrong equipment, didn't dig too much, give up early...

Tungsten+Policarbonate = emboss
Weight, lots till you get a traceable groove (you dont damage the stylus,don't worry) then lift slowly till you get no surface noise.
