Hi guys - got 3 sapphire stylus and they lost their heating wiring and because of the model (VRX2000) would like to resharpen if possible. PLEASEEEE! let me know if someone is able to do any of the 2 services (I doubt about resharpening but will be happy at least with rewiring for now)

Yeah, those are reproducers and had to try several ones in order to get different results! My respects for those early recording engineers! They had to overcome so many difficulties while making each record!!

I have been working very hard during the last 4 months with the Pathe Disc Recorder to adapt it from vertical to lateral and results are each time better and better.. Here the link of a local band made last month and hope you enjoy it!

I think orange label are cardboard base - I got some 8" a while ago and lacquer was not soft anymore..

Seems like steels are good only for lo-fi 78 cuts in old lacquer and cardboard base plates for home recorders as Wilcox, Meissner etc. I am currently using steel needles in a 1912 Acoustic Pathe Lathe but never got good results with them on mid/hi fi machines in 33/45.
