If your actual approval prior to posting them out are rigid ...

Re: Anti slip serrations on 7" records

A little bit related, still looking for any manufacturer that could provide us with a die/punch for making the "4-prong" center hole which also appear on the attached picture. Any suggestio...

Re: Pressing 7 inch Records - Issues with Warping
Hello again I don't come here that often nowadays so i missed your post, There is a whole host of reasons that one can get weird results from this rather complex game of ours, since you have never said what press you are running i cannot be specific but only general but well tried steps over many ye...

Re: Recycling Pucks and Purge Ropes
Hi What do you mean by Purge material?? Are you using a purging compound? if so it is useless, if you mean purging the compound that's been sitting there overheated or colour change or just getting a good puck no reason you cannot use it If you where to take it out as a thick spaghetti with a thick ...

Installation of our Pheenix AD12's
Hi All My infrequent visits here are the end result of being extremely busy in the last few months So all the AD12's are up and running for a while now, production output and quality as expected but it was a hard task Since all the pipe work was executed is Stainless Steel it really pointed out to m...

Mmmm Wouldn't be holding my breath mate, very rare to see any government reversing a revenue stream These are there to stay for good unless the whole tariff experiment reverts back to the fragile free trade pacts of the past

Re: Bio vinyl, sustainability, vinyl record plants promoting it etc
Yep Philips did do it Only 7" but They could never got it right on the album 12" and yes it was Polystyrene, They also engraved negatively the details on the label area on the lacquer so you got a raised 3D kind of lettering for title band etc the usual details They did not wear well but they where ...

It Seems they get about 13.42 pound for the release the balance to the artist, 20.48 Pound If one wants a "test" cut before release it comes at the full price of 33.90 pound I can say this much It works out at around the $AUD 69.00 plus postage? a bit pricey I would have thought so than again it may...

Re: Elasticstage - short run record production
Very very interesting, I still maintain that the economics past 50 copies do not add up! Also, Assuming that pressing plants with in house cut plate outfits reduce the cost to clients, as well as outside suppliers of cuts and metal work, then it is a case of how long this will last! So assume a lacq...

Re: Elasticstage - short run record production
@ Farmersplow, love that name Thomas I think the biggest achievement is to collect USD 4.5 million from investors. You have to achieve that first. They have But if they really had 40 machines, for example, then they could produce 1400 LPs a day (35 LPs per machine in 16 hours - 2-shift operation). T...
