overhead arm with turntable
i have idea to DIY lathe cut machine, it will be overhead arm lathe with technics SL-1200 plus caruso head, is it possible? has anyone success for this idea?

around cutter head have small latch, i can move (push) the cutter head by handy at the platter running but very hard to control hand weights and speed, it would be easier if i can use crank handle
for meters that you see another one for mic input (two track recording in mono)

thank you but i can't manual rotate crank handle at platter running, the crank handle will be follow with motor ever

How to make lead in-out in manual method?
i'm just newbie in lathe cut now i'm trying to cut many PVC sheet something is ok but i can't make lead in-out line, who can explain me for this method?

no brand label on the lathe and i trird to cut on CD-r too much noise i don't know why, maybe material or i'm direct output stereo CD player to lathe input mono

today i tried to cut, it's mono records one VU meter for input and another for mic input (two track recording in mono)
and i can't open the machine because i can't see any nut bolt
