Re: WTB: General Radio knobs
thank you for ebay tip... actually I check it (almost) everyday. I would need black , thats why I'm asking. I've passed many auctions because of irrationally sky high prices... the guy from aforementioned "auction" is selling them for more than half a year  I think ebay is not reference any mo...

Re: WTB: General Radio knobs
These knobs look more like the Davens (but they are General Radio!)... so they are round. KNSP type have the pointer and KNS is without. Different numbers - different sizes (larger number - bigger knob). The KNBs are more like "chicken head" but (again) different. Below there are sample pictures (th...

WTB: General Radio knobs
I'm searching for black General Radio knobs with pointer, especially KNSP-8. Also some others (like KNSP-6, KNB-1, KNB-2...) would be nice.
If anybody has something like that lying around... let me know.
Thanks!

Re: Scully owners, what kind of motors do you have?
I use bodine 1/4 hp Bodine motor just as in the picture of audadvnc. I have Siemens microcontroller 420. First i thought the motor is 3 phase also but then I found out it has actually 4 wires... and it is 1 phase with cap. so I just coupled two wires and made it "look like" 3 phase and siemens "didn...

Re: question not about cutting
If you have or you can get schematics you can mak pcb from scratch. Use some kind of program such as EAGLE, make gerber and send it to someone who has cnc machine. You can also contact Greg from Drip electronics... he might help you.

I found out the platter is the tilted so I removed it and also the plate between the plater and the shaft is uneven... this is currently the main problem bu...

Bodine motor replacement
I have this old Bodine motro running the platter of my 8DG. As I live in Europe I had to include the controller for running it properly. When running it for a long time the motor gets quite hot - around 50°C. I'm afraid it would burn if I'd run it for longer time. So this is the question for "just i...
