Hi Trolls. i started my passion about lathe cut not so far so i need your help;) i m owner of a beautiful 'Le Dauphine' old cutter machine. Hi
I m testing embossing vinyl , they work good in a stanton turntable.
I play it on a no-adjustable weight turntable but needle skip the grooves.
Any advice?have i to add weight?
Sorry i m not a pro, what does oil or light fluid need?

I change some x26 position and now it works better, but volume is still low...
However everytime i try to cut (turn needle face ) while i m cutting, there s a noisy 'shhhhhhhhhhh'.when i reproduce it 'shhhhh' is higer than track s....
Is there too much pressure?
Where is the problem?

Hi Trolls I've the same problem!!! i've got pvc and poli blank from ameise. I try to adjust angle, as much as possible.. , I try to put weight upon x-26 (how many grams does it need?) i try to modify needle lenght (how much is standard needle lenght?) i try to heat with lamp... but surface noise sti...

Hi there and congratulation ,your machine is great.i'm doing my own record recorder diy too ,but unfortunally i've got a problem.
I try to cut on cd , but when i playback it ,turntable arm isn't able to slip to the middle and repeat only 1 Groove. ..
Any advice?
