I need an Amp & Vacuum Cleaner with separate motor cooling to begin with. Just wondered if their 19" Amp (I assume you could purchase to begin with) is 'good enough' or can I get better for similar cost, aswell as their vacuum cleaner with separate motor cooling? It does seem their Vacuum Pump is 'a...

Amp suitable for Vinylrecorder..

Hi there, According to Vinylrecorder.com you'll need: Amp min. 2 X 250W, max. 2 X 400W -they can provide 19" Amplifier 220V 2 X 280W Sinus(?), for 320 Euro. Are there any similar priced Amp alternatives which give better sound/signal/connectivity, or is their Amp fine to do the job? Also, the option...

hmm.. that Synq seems good where torque is concerned.

but overall is it as good as the sp10..?

its not exactly the problem with the kingston overall, its the turntable size.

its been said in other posts that the kingston lathe would also need to be adapted/modded (if possible?).

one thing regarding the kingston or vinylrecorder is possibly flutter issue?

i understand flutter issue is down to 12XX motor.

fix is mod the 12XX or perhaps source different turntable.

welcome to lathetrolls rocness!

Coda: ..I don't own or want a record label or even an e-bay seller account and I can assure you the pressings would not be used for commercial profit making purposes or peddled as Bootlegs or Counterfeits etc, I am simply a Vinyl lover and I want to have my restoration works of these recordings cut ...

Kingston 5,665 GBP does seem quite alot more compared to the V.R. 2,623 GBP. Currently affordability means I can have the V.R. I would be using a Technics 1200MkII (upgraded?). Theres alot of info/talk on these two cutting systems here on lathetrolls I'm aware. Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask...
