Re: For Sale : Dub Plate Cutter in UK

hi,

is it a vinylium kingston dubplate cutter or the vinylrecorder t560, by souri?

(if its a t560) is the cutting head a feedback type?

Re: WTB - Neumann VMS 60 or 66

hi, thanks for the info. i had read that a vms 60 existed but thinking about it perhaps it was just a reference to the 6 series in general http://firstcask.blogspot.co.uk/2008/12/some-record-cutting-lathes.html so anyway in that case i'm looking for either a vms 62 special, 66 or possibly 70. cheers

Re: Rekokut Record lathe

same here, i went a bit silly on the bidding but i chose a limit to stick to and then yh someone with 1 feedback has now bid it right upto £2500+. too much for that i think. still i would liked to have owned it.

WTB - Neumann VMS 60 or 66

i know i may be late to the party but i thought it could still be worth putting a wanted ad out.

at this moment in time i'm looking for either a vms 60, 66 or possibly 70 depending on its price.

complete cutting package preferred.

Re: rek-o-kut 110v voltage conversion

yo guys, yh i joined up on lenco an read up a bit on whats what with the controller thing etc. that seems a fairly straight forward way of sorting out the speed issue, i think thats not too out of my depth. but would simons solution work out just as well and cost about the same? anyway would there b...

Re: rek-o-kut 110v voltage conversion

nice one guys, very helpful indeed. thank you i dont own the rek-o-kut but i've had my eye on the one which is in the classifieds at the moment. i'm trying to gauge what it will entail to get it working properly if i did come to own it. if i knew i could somehow get it spinning at the correct speeds...

Re: rek-o-kut 110v voltage conversion

rek-o-kut 110v voltage conversion

hi guys,

just wondering if theres any advice on changing the voltage with a 110v rek-o-kut for use in the u.k.

i've read that using a convertor will also change the frequency but this means the rek-o-kut spins slower.

how would you solve that issue?
