My Hara M-180 is supposed to run at 45rpm but it actually runs at about 57rpm with the 100V transformer. I use Audacity and I speed the song up to about 25.8% before I cut. Sounds beautiful when playing on a 45rpm turntable when the amp in the lathe wants to work right. do you use a voltage convert...

hi is there a reason that when i cut records sometimes the recording head starts to smoke? too loud? art the tunes too hot?

is there any where to sharpen these things, or to buy new sapphire or diamond short shank stylus?
i think i may have a stallite stylus but i'm not sure.
