I had a big order that wanted custom shaped labels so I bought a plotter and this brought the opportunity to test with whatever I have in the local shops. Curious to try with matte paper but wi...

For Sale: Technics SP-15

Hello trolls! Is anyone interested in Technics SP-15? The TT has enough torque to cut whatever you wish. I'm cutting mostly loud and bassy hip-hop with fat drums and it works great. I have no actual reason to sell it, I'm happy with it, it's just I have a great deal on SP-10 so thought someone else ...

Re: Lathe building project

That looks great! Congratulations! Would you share the exact model of the motor and the driver? I've powering the overhead of my lathe with stepper motor and would like to try 'the proper way'. I remember this was somewhere on the forum but cant find it now :(

Re: Rails & stepper motors

A couple of quick questions for the 'stepper brain trust' if I might. In the cases cited here, is the stepper coupled directly to the leadscrew, or is there either a gear train or belt between the motor and the load? Also, regarding those Zeelo 'vibration dampers,' do they simply isolate motor vibr...

Souri's pump looks exactly the same but all marks cleared.
Thank You!
Then I'll order one and test it. I'll start small - with 80 m³/h and 370W

Good luck! Please let us know what are the results after that.

Another part ID for you: the clutch bearing inside the brass housing is a INA HF0406 Needle Roller Clutch 4x8x6mm
Thanks handcut!

Due to language barrier Im not sure I understand where this exactly fits. Is it right next to the black wheel and you see it after the wheel is removed?

Thanks,
Bob

Re: Looking for VR T560 or similar in USA

I think that if you are sure you want to cut instead of emboss then go directly to cutting. If you go to embossing first you will spend time and money to learn it until the moment you want to switch to cutting and then you have to start to learn again.
