Hi Aussie0zborn, You bring up some good points. Most formulas that are used today would be outdated. Any lacquer formula will need to be adapted for there environment, manufacturing plant and equipment that they will be used in. I have the formulas for Apollo and Transco disks that my father developed for them in the mid 70's. The screen shot has some of the parts to the formula but it is missing some key items, such as solvents, plastizizers, black die, etc.

That is great news about Quantegy tape. I use a lot of GP9 and 499 for mastering. There is tape made here in the USA by ATR magnetics.
