This is for light that I need and it heats... i heard that some materials does not take that heat as good as others. this is what wiki says. I thi...

interesting idea but it could be done better. i see it as it was just a design of cutting peaces of vinyl not the music itself. maybe they could do something more realistic in sounds than totally unknown results.

You just need some equipment which is expensive and of course some knowledge and working skills and you are good to go. :) There are too few specialists and manufacturers of record cutting equipment and accessori...

WTB: saphire stylus

Hi

would like to buy one saphire stylus with neuman shank. I know I can order from blanx-uk but the shipping is 30 pounds to Lithuania for one stylus. It is too expensive for me to do some test cuts.

Can anybody share with me one stylus? Best would be from EU ;)

They are not like dj's or smth... but they use it... maybe they get it when they buy technivs 1210 or similar model. What I remember that testes was done with concorde on laquers. With normal hif...

oh my god. that is one true machine. Very good looking. Should work nice like it looks.

one thing is that it seams to me the overhead system is not horizontally flat or it is just a picture distortion here. :)

i have got blown mine. it was h-4 audax. the problem was that the support was holding on very old rubber. it just stopped cutter to vibrate. First I didn't knew that and gave too much power like you did. rewinded by myself without any problem to 8 ohm's. changes the rubbers I had. The sound went up ...

Hey

this is a very nive effort. I would add some too. Depends on the price tag.

I have discussed this with Flo and it was quite high. So I am into making some by myself. and I am almost there. Just do not have time for this at the moment.

Will write here any results.

hey i remember i have read in the red book about finding the right angle. the aluminum tools were used. it has to be the height of a stylus with the conical shank as stylus and with a bar is couple of cm long. It should lay down on the plater and thats how you get 90 degrees. i don't know if I am cl...
