dizzy me too looks like a video call is needed ..but I think it will do the job just need a head that fits in line with the centre point and the right weight ..wish I was there to help I think vice your on the right track with the micro switches ..you need to power up that overhead to move..

keep posting on here that way the more can help.. start by getting the turntable in place where it fits and find that cable(25? pin computer cable?) that goes from base to over head .if it moves then thats a good sign.. also if you have a multimeter then you can find out straight away if this thing ...

yes he does you need to get diamonds for the heads thats all..and I would go into cutting not embossing as you cannot scratch or alternate records when they are embossed..when you cut a record the playback sits in the groove properly ..

thanks for PM Andy ..all I have is a 6n base, motor, rubbers, threads(I make my own too) but no plate and over head your best bet is to get the 6n from mike and get the other mike to help over the net..if any parts are missing that I have iam glad to help..if only I was near you I could help hands o...

hi ...yes the lathe is amazing, quality is second to none..but I don't work for them only have photo on my site as its from my city and iam very proud that something like that comes from my home town..

I have an emidicta 1948? with Hebrew font. (motor dead).ive completly stripped it to workout how its iddler works with its well bearing and transfered it to a diy plimf project thing that I've given up on.
I have one magnetic 12in disk thin like a Flexi, don't know whats on it.
