Adding automation to our Neumann VMS 66
Dear Trolls, we upgraded our Neumann VMS66 lathe with automatic control of the "spiral/mark" and "fast/runout groove" buttons. As the Neumann is already quite automated this was pretty easy - We love this machine! All you need if you want to do it by yourself is a small MIDI control board named MIDI...

Re: Which 1200/1210?
According to Technics specs it should be: torque (1.5 kgf·cm or 0.15 N·m for SL-1200MK2) torque (3.3 kgf·cm for SL-1200G & SL-1200GAE) torque (2.2 kgf·cm for SL-1200GR) torque (1.8 kgf·cm for SL-1200MK7) We had a Denon VL12 Prime in use here - it lasted for half a year then problems with the motor a...

Re: Which 1200/1210?
Has anybody ever tried the new Technics 1200GR or even 1200G.
The GR is supposed to have a bit more torque than the old ones - so I guess it should work?

Re: torque enhancing on Technics SL-1200/1210
We also just did it to one of our SL-1200 MKII. There was a 330k resistor in there - I added a 160k in parallel (about 108k total)
Voila - works like a charm. Also no hearable wow or flutter.

Re: Vinylrecorder suction: vacuum or pump?

vst plugin showing remaining time?
hi there,
flo's remaining time display is highly appreciated in our studio.
now i am wondering if there's a vst plugin out there, showing the remaining time of a selected block, or markers?
we're too slow calculating in our heads....
any hints?
thanks mex
