i spent 100 dallars on a head.. and it couldnt fiure out why i either never got a reduced repaire.. or a complete refundd.. i was told to spend more money,,.. aint happening.

Its very simple to wind coils.. im just having trouble.figureing out the guages.. None of the stores seem to carry the right guages.. so i had to go to a junk yard and get speaker. to canablaize the wire inside to make the head work..

ive had some success with the head winding.. Converting crystal to magnetic with some wire.. I forgot to mention.. gib had wound the coild loose in my mc 41 presto.. in 1948 there were no ways to cool the heat, like we use nitrogen to cool a speaker now. so i was told to use 35 winds.. for no higher...

i followed up and i got two manuals.. one was 6 pages.. with record o fone on them one pages showed the picture of where everything was on the board.. but no schematic.. Also the Schematic was from an Mongomery ward record cutter.. but not a record o fone.. schematic,, being clear here. a total of 6...

    look for a fan motor,.. there the strongest,, a small table fan..they say is best..

    magnetic coils can i wind 92 wire coils to equal the width fo the oriongia; 1/2'' crystal wich descintigrated in my fingers.. literally crumbled.. im trying to match the voltage of the crystal element.. but instead power it with magnet wire and a magnet. id like a strong sound but something that won...

    im not following,, is Presto a grampian or is grampian a presto ? M 41 Megnetic head. Ive tried rewinding the coil, several times,, the coil deteriorated. i was winding it with a straightened paperclip... It looks like the one on gibs page Cutter Head Repair.. its just ive sunk more then enough mone...
