How many did you cut before you noticed the surface noise? I think I got around 7 cut before it started rearing it's ugly head ever so suddenly, then by 15 got increasingly louder, by 28 it's time to send it back to get resharpened. I think it was around 6 or 7 hours before mine was unusable on my s...

I can also get white, clear, transparent grey or transparent brown. Any size as long as the order is sufficient enough for my supplier to cut them for me. In other words, it has to be more than 25 pieces. Thy come predrilled and cut into the exact circle dimensions as a normal record.

That's actually a pretty cool idea. He could make polycarbonate records with different patterns on them and do a live p.a. with them using regular turntables and multiple arms like that which hook directly into a DJ mixer. He could make triggers for all sorts of different sounds, bass lines and pads...

Sounds great here, too, on my old school PPC's built in speaker (1"). So, it's a vertical cut (mono) using a Grampian head on Lexan or similar polycarbo resin? Are they on Bulletproof Records? (: Bravo Cymbalism! -Andrew Yep, mono Grampian on lexan embossed :) If I had a gun I could answer your oth...

Oh yeah... that would be awesome... I wonder how much shipping would be. I know it can't be TOO bad (at least coming from Czech) because Pirate's Press has decent prices. Are customs a problem on the outward bound side? I don't think the US has any customs issues, or at least I've never dealt with ...

I cut some 5"s for a guy for record store day - i forget where he is located but I only had one request from someone to have them in their hands by today. Personally I had a local store selling my first fear of music release, have no idea if they sold any or not but I'm sure I'll find out sooner or ...

Grampian Type C Magnetic vs other Grampian heads

Hey guys I've been looking high and low for info on the grampian type-c head to compare it with the thread Mark put up awhile back but am having no luck. Anyone know if there's much of a difference considering it doesn't say it's a feedback head and based on Flo's comment about the Grampian not trul...

7" acetates wanted

Anyone out there happen to have a handful of blank 7" acetates they could part with - like 4 or 5? I'm working on a project with someone and I want to cut an acetate and emboss a record for them so they can hear the difference but all I have are 10" and 12" acetates. Hit me up with a pm if you can h...

Only 50 of them. 25 were sold at the show before he even finished his set and the others were sold at the record store who paid me to do it for them.

I also cut an acetate of it for Bill and one for me so 52 technically hehe
