Is it not possible to just press up a run of 100 blank 12" vinyl records and use those? Am I missing something here?

Yeah I will have to ask and see what's what. As for Rip-V, those guys are off the chain with their pricing. (way way too expensive when you factor in that exchange is flat right now between the USA and Canada).

ahah! thats the old head I posted pics of a couple of years back that I picked up off ebay. I was told it was stereo but its not, I guess its mono but its like nothing anyone has ever seen before so it could be a really great restoration piece.
