It's extremely rare that a Fairchild 740 ever comes to market so price is more of what people are willing to pay at the moment than anything that can have a definite kind of "blue book" value.d wrote:what is the general price for this kind of lathe?
I am on tight budget but would like yo get something like presto 6n or similar in europe.
In terms of build and capabilities - they are generally better than Presto but not as good as Scully. So - the price usually falls in between what you would expect for these two systems. i.e. more than $1000 and less than $10000, depending on what is included and condition.
Sorry to be so vague - but unfortunately this kind of item's pricing is just that way.
