Rek-O-Kut R-8A - RIAA curve onboard?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Just a quick one - does the Rek-O-Kut R-8A have a reverse RIAA curve onboard?

Thanks!

I wouldn't think so because of the time period, but especially because it doesn't list it in the specs

Wouldn't it be likely to have some sort of curve, even if it weren't RIAA? I thought pretty much all electric-era cutting amps had some sort of curve, just that there was no one standard.

Who was the market for this amp, though?
