Recording on thin (1,5mm, 1mm) blanks

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Recording on thin (1,5mm, 1mm) blanks

Hi guys,

I am wondering if there is a way to stabilise thin records so they can stay flat during heating / recording. Seems as hotter they get, the more curvy the surface gets, resulting differences on the cutting stylus pressure.
Tried a way to stick them on the platter but i wish there was a tidier way. Using a VR T560 by the way.

Thanks
