Silvertone cutter head

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hi pleasant day to all just as we embark upon such festive season of Xmas

I must first let you know I have got very little knowledge about lathe cutting and any advice will be humbly accepted.

I have a silvertone 3751 1941 model The amplifier works. But would not get the levels for today standard so I am using a separate amp, I am just using the platter but the head was a crystal head and I would like to replace it with a magnetic head ? Any ideas? Which other head could work on this unit as it has limited space due the configuration at the time.

Any help is appreciated

Kind Regards
Pablo
