Problems sending private messages?

I have at least one report that if you send a private message and get this error:

Failed sending email :: PHP ::

Your message actually goes through. What are people's experiences?

I've been getting the same kind of error when just posting a reply also, but it does go thru, I think others might be getting the same because i've noticed people sending their same reply twice.

Yep, been having the exact same issue. The message goes through (either PM or post). But, I do get the error every time.

I don't know WHAT is going on here. I just had trouble logging onto the site for the past 20 minutes. I have sent a complaint to phpbb.

Hi Steve,

I had a weird problem yesterday. When I returned to the site to check for new posts, I was not logged on. I had to manually log on and re-check the option to remember me. Maybe this is due to some of the problems. Since Sept, I no longer recieve emails when someone responds to a post I made even though I have this option enabled. I also do not recieve email notification of PM's. I have no spam blocker, but perhaps my ISP has phpbb blacklisted. Hope this is of some use to help you track down the issues.
