Question for VR owners (who went for training)
Hello
Couple of questions for VR owners who went for training.
Is it normal to have to send the deposit first?
Did anyone take their VR (after buying) with them instead of having to ship it?
Appreciate any advice!
Thanks!

Re: Question for VR owners (who went for training)
Not sure about deposit. It’s a large machine but you should just buy the main parts, without his amp, mixer, and other hardware as you’ll replace them for better cuts.
So yes you should be able to take that in a padded suitcase. But take some bubble wrap too

Thanks for the info. Did you take yours after buying?

If you are business, send

Thanks! I thought it might well be something like this.
Did you have to pay a deposit before going?

Re: Question for VR owners (who went for training)
As for me,
I went there, paid in full after the training and received my machine 3-4 weeks later. (Canada)
No deposit ''pre-training''

Can't remember about a deposit. But Souri is definitely trustworthy so wouldn't worry about it.
I took it with me, car broke after 300 km, spend three days in a German spa called Bad Kreuznach, filled with ex nazi's enjoying longevity- waited for a replacement car and then finally drove off reborn with my VR.

No deposit for me
One of the weirdest weekends of my life
Simply enjoy the ride, and spend the next few years thinking about grooves all day, every day and spending more money
The basic setup needs serious tuning for quality cuts
Re: Question for VR owners (who went for training)
Mine was posted to Australia. All good. If I could do it all again I would ditch most of the Souri equipment as it's not good.
Just the cutterhead and main mechanical parts. Leave the audio stuff and buy your own locally... and better quality!

Thanks for your replies. Haven’t had the chance to get one yet, but does sound like an adventure if it does one day!
