To glue the two 1-millimeter transparent discs for the picture discs, do you use spray glue or double-sided tape?
Because spray glue makes a mess...
Thanks for help

Good to know! Picture discs certainly aren't our specialityzukote1991 wrote: ↑Sat May 10, 2025 12:20 pmHi! For picture discs, most people recommend using a thin layer of clear double-sided adhesive film instead of spray glue — it gives a cleaner, more even bond without the mess or warping. Some also use pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets that are specifically made for laminating. Just make sure to press everything evenly to avoid bubbles. Hope this helps!
We second this, it would be much more helpful if people give specific brands and types that are already tested.808fiend wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 2:24 amAnyone fancy sharing some actual names of specific spray glues or adhesive film they have had good results with as everything I have tried so far has issues
Spray glue = mess and sometimes reacts with the disc or the printed material
adhesive film - Have tried multiple samples from an adhesive film supplier all of which has a mottled / crazed effect to it - supplier suggest optically clear film but still looking into that as they dont supply it so need to find another supplier
I really dont want to go down the route of spray glue due to mess and fumes but if its the only option then ill have to give it a go - also would prefer the adhesive film route as it tends not to dry out and crack over time causing the plates to become unstuck as mentioned above
