been seeing a graphic of grooves where they point out different ones, with inverse RIAA curve, without and something else (couldnt find it anymore would have attached it otherwise)
now i was wondering about a few things.. so i cut with a t560, bypassed the main unit and go directly to the cutteramp with my DAW out, i mapped the frequency response so i get a flat signal after A/Bing the cut, im really happy with the results. the record needle goes thru a phono amp with build in RIAA curve. As i see it after flatening the EQ the inverse RIAA should already be in there ? i dont need another inverse curve in the chain? just need someone that can help me with the thought process at this point as im not 100% sure… would appreciate
the second question - can grooves be to wide? does ut affect the sound? i know it will when it enters near the middle of the record but before that? i read a blog post about this but was not really shure about the physics so maybe someone can explain
thanks in advance, really appreciate any input
kindly
