does anybody know the weight of a presto 6n lathe

Very very heavy. I would say between 60kg - 80kg but its been 25 years since I lifted mine. I'm sure someone here will have the spec.

In a portable case, they are probably 70-80 lbs.

I jsut had one shipped to me, and according to UPS it weighs 87 lbs. And I don't think that includes a cover, which would add another 4 or 5 lbs.
