Is there a forum where to sell a cutter head? (ES-59)...

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hi guys (and gals),
I'm trying to find homes for some Neumann bits that came from the old "Stephens" (multitrack) estate. Where would the "proper" place be? Or is there one here? Don't know quite how to proceed. Any advice is very much appreciated :) Thanks a bunch! -Steve

What all do you have to sell? I'm sure a number of us might be interested.

Well, as mentioned, I have an ES-59 (currently on "the bay", for lack of another idea), another ES-59 with an external "horseshoe" magnet added (presumably to "strengthen" the coil?) and an interesting adapter/interface device with no markings on it (definitely a Neumann though. Same era multipin connectors, etc.). a bunch of original docs/schemos', etc., and a small stack of Neumann styli (in the little plastic boxes). some unused, some with "date of removal" written on them. Whadda'ya think?...

Classifieds section of this forum would be the place.
