vintage motor rebuild in uk?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

You should be able to find a local company that can rewind motors but one off the top of my head is Heasells electrical engineers in Royston.
Have a look in the yellow pages and find local is best tho'

thanks for the reply,
the only companies Ive managed to find appear to carry out more industrial type motor rewinds,
may give a try anyway but will no doubt get a shock with price.................

look for a place that services compressor motors for air conditioning, refrigerators, and things of that nature..
