This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hey All.
So, I screwed up my last good stylus while cutting an acetate for a friend (and working out the kinks on a new machine. argh!) She needs 2 copies on acetate by the end of the week.
11 short tracks (between 0:16 and 1:20) about 9 mins or so total.
Who can do it, and how much do you need?
She's in NYC.
I feel bad that I can't come through, but I want to see that she gets her plates.
