Kind of newbie saying Hi

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Saying Hi!

I'm in Wilmington, Delaware. I have some experience using a Presto 6n, Meissner home unit, Recordio, and a portable RCA. Results have varied from good to horrible, and I usually have no idea why.

I'm glad you're all here, and I hope I can contribute to the forum.

I'm always interested in people who are cutting so I generally google anyone on here if they give enough identifying info. Are you a high school teacher, Dennis? So am I.
