Anyone here use Audacity RIAA curve to prepare audio?
The guy who i bought my presto 8DG off has a special RIAA box but as i havent got one I'm going to put each track in audacity and use the plug in and invert,
I was wondering does anyone else use this or does anyone have any better ideas?

Interesting. I am looking into testing something similar. I would try with a hardware equaliser to be able to monitor the output from the computer. Or find one of those special boxes you talk about.

I typically use the DAW (Audacity, etc) to apply the iRIAA curve. However, I also have a box I got from piaptk that does it live in real time in the event I am not using the digital solution.

I sel iRiaa processing boxes for $250-350 depending on the options. I currently have one 230v box available.

I use this plugin in Logic Pro, but you can use it in any DAW I'm sure.
