DIY Anti Static Spray
I'm looking to make some anti static spray to help with cutting, purely because i have ran out of my stock and whilst some is on order i'd like to try making some myself.
Ive seen loads of posts with people doing this but cant find any info here with what is used, elsewhere online generally it is water, rubbing alcohol and fabric softener, but all info is for textiles / electronics, does this translate to PVC blanks? Or has any one with experience found things that work better/worse than others?
Thanks!

Honestly, I am not 100% sure either. I know Distilled water a couple drops of dish soap are part of one way but I swear there is some kind of alcohol involved.
Re: DIY Anti Static Spray
yeah I just use water with a little dish soap nowadays.
vinegar is used for anti-static too, which I tried in the past. no real change from the water + soap mixture

Are you using tap water or distilled water?
Re: DIY Anti Static Spray
is this dripped onto the laquer and worked in? or do you submerge the whole disc?
Re: DIY Anti Static Spray
Biological washing-detergent + tapwater here. More than a few drops though, more like a generous dash of soap. Alcohol is not needed. Then shake before a cutting-session.
Simply put some drops on a cotton disc (be sparse) and go from the innerhole to the outer-rim once (while the disc is spinning). Do not overdo it.
