Cutting Head ID request

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hi folks. Any idea what this is? It's really heavy and I think it's a cutting head, but it has no ID on it other than "516" and "401." Any ideas?

Interesting, reminds me of the RCA horizontal cutter heads. I see a stylus screw and what looks like an advance ball to help manage cut depth.
